Houston County, Georgia, faces a serious health crisis—our local statistics for hypertension and related diseases exceed the national average.

Thank you to my collaborative partner from the new Piedmont Heart Institute for helping to emphasize this critical message. Recently, we had the opportunity to revisit our friends at the Warner Robins Rotary Club luncheon, where Christie and I shared a presentation to raise awareness. Her powerful narrative reinforced our mission and highlighted the importance of this organization's advocacy. Awareness should never be optional—it must be a priority.
